Privacy policy

This policy explains how we handle personal information. We are Alpha Innovate Ltd, trading as Sitepresto, registered in England and Wales, company number 13352404. Registered office: 24a Aldermans Hill, London N13 4PN. You can contact us at hello@sitepresto.co.uk. We are the data controller for the information described here, except where we say otherwise.

Previews we build before anyone asks

We build sample websites for trade businesses using information those businesses publish about themselves: their Google listing and their own public profiles. That includes the business name, phone number, opening hours, reviews, photos and the areas covered. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: showing a business what its website could look like, with no cost or obligation to them.

A preview link stops working 14 days after we make it. We keep the business details we gathered so that we do not contact the same business twice. Any business can ask us to take its preview down or delete its details at any time by emailing hello@sitepresto.co.uk, and we will do it.

The preview request form

If you ask us for a preview, we collect your business name, town, email address and, if you give it, your mobile number. We use these only to build your preview and email you the link. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

Customers and payments

If you make your site live, we keep your contact and account details so we can provide and support the service and bill you. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you, and meeting our legal duties on tax and accounting records.

Enquiries sent through a customer website

When someone fills in the contact form on a website we host for a customer, we pass that enquiry to the business by email and keep a copy so we can show it was delivered. For these enquiries we act on the business's behalf as its processor, and the business decides how the enquiry is used after that.

Who we share information with

We use these service providers:

• Cloudflare, for hosting
• Stripe, for payments
• Resend, for sending email
• Google Workspace, for our own email
• Lovable, for this website

They only handle information to provide those services to us. We do not sell personal information.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to limit how we use it, object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests, and ask for it in a portable form. Email hello@sitepresto.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies on this website and we do not run analytics that needs your consent.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
